6 books tips on leadership development

Often, I’m asked: “What can I read to strengthen my leadership?” or “Where can I find more about leadership vision?”. Many books have been written on leadership for specific sectors such as the public sector, healthcare, police, or education. In this article, I share some books that have inspired me in the field of leadership development, suitable for a broad audience.

If you’ve read “My Best Team Ever! In 7 Steps to Golden Leadership”, then you’ll find an extensive bibliography at the end of the book. Here, I’ll give you a top 6 list. And of course, my most recent book is included. Below is my favorite books in no particular order.

Good to Great – Jim Collins

American business researcher Jim Collins wondered around 2000 why some companies perform significantly better than others. He researched many American companies and published his findings in this book “Good to Great”. Although the book is somewhat dated, as some of the companies he studied no longer exist, and it was primarily based on research before the listing of internet companies, it remains a personal favorite!
